Funeral services for Mr. Thomas C. Harryman, age 70, of Manchester, will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Richard Craddock and Bro. Donald Gregory officiating.
Burial will follow in Summitville Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be from 11:00 AM until time of services at the funeral home.
Mr. Harryman passed away Tuesday morning at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
Mr. Harryman was born in Oklahoma, the son of the late Charles and Kathryn Blaylock Harryman. For almost 50 years, he was employed by the State of Tennessee as a civil engineer in bridge inspections. He was a member of Summitville First Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, UT football, and for 20 years, he was involved in Manchester Baseball programs. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kim Harryman.
He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Janice Sanders Harryman of Manchester; two sons, Charles (Donna) Harryman of Hillsboro and Joben Clancy of Morrison; two daughters, Kava (Mark) Petty of Manchester and Roxanne (John Allen) Howlette of Morrison; one brother, Jimmy Harryman of Manchester; three sisters, Margaret Bandy of Franklin County, Norma Baker of Manchester, and Sharon Brown of Alabama; nine grandchildren, Phil and Chris Petty, Dusty and Maddie Harryman, Matthew and Jaci Howlette, Mandy and Chanda Harmon, and Trey Duke; and eight great grandchildren.
