Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Jo Keough, age 61, of Manchester will be conducted Friday, March 15, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Coffee County Funeral Chapel with Brother Albert Watters officiating.
Burial will follow at Fredonia Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 15, 2013 from 12:00 Noon until time of services.
Mrs. Keough passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 at Manchester Health Care.
She was born March 9, 1952 in Houston, Texas, the daughter of the late Joe Sam Robertson and Margaret Marie Caldwell Robertson. Shirley’s father was in the United States Air Force and during her youth, the family moved quite a bit. She graduated from Warren County High School in 1970 and much later moved to Manchester to be closer to her daughter. Shirley had a very special ability to connect with people. As a result, she truly loved people and was a gifted care giver for the mentally disabled. She also served as a devout member of AA for over 18 years. She had a passion for all types of music which she enjoyed listening to. Shirley was a spiritual person, loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded by her spouse, Kenny Keough.
Survivors include her loving, devoted daughter, Katrina Banaski and husband, Richard of Manchester; four grandchildren, Gage Hutchings, Ella Hutchings, Brooke Banaski and Christian Banaski; two step-sons, Christopher Keough and Lance Keough; one sister, Sue Downs and husband, Richard of Antioch, TN; and a special niece, Melody Goodwin.
