BBB Sends Out Warning

BBBTRX Software Developers in Murfreesboro has had nearly 80 complaints filed against it with the Better Business Bureau in Nashville.
“This company really needs to pay attention to what’s happening,” said Kathleen Calligan with the BBB.
TRX sells software to professional tax preparers so they can electronically file their customers taxes. The product cost hundreds, and in some cases, thousands of dollars.
“It’s very important that you have software that is working and your client can get their taxes completed,” according to Calligan.
But this tax season complaints about the software not working properly have come into the BBB from across the nation. So far, Calligan said TRX has done nothing to rectify those complaints.
Companies are required by the Internal Revenue Service to submit their software to the agency for review. It is not known if the TRX software was given to the IRS for its approval.
