Elections in Coffee County on August 1 will be light this year, with only four positions up for re-election, all of which are in Tullahoma. According to Election Commission Chairman Vernita Davis, two Tullahoma aldermen, namely Mike Norris and James Eads, are both at the end of their terms, as are the two Tullahoma Board of Education members, John Manis and Teresa Lawson. For potential candidates who wish to run, petitions are currently available for pickup at the election commission office at 1329 MacArthur Street in Manchester, and the deadline to turn in the required 25 signatures is 12 noon on Thursday, May 16. The voter registration deadline is July 2.
