Muckle will remain at the school as a history teacher.
Muckle wants to give more time to his family and church. He has been coaching for more than 20 years in the area.
This year the Lady Raiders went 15-15 falling last week in the first round of the Region 3-AAA tournament. In Muckle’s six years with the Lady Raiders, he compiled a 65-81 record. In 2011 the Lady Raiders won their first district title since 1993.
