Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Crabtree passed away on Monday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
Mrs. Crabtree was born in Coffee County, TN, the daughter of the late Claude and Jettie Brandon Smartt. She was of the Church of Christ faith and was a self-employed business owner. She played basketball for Coffee County High School, loved reading and investigating real estate. She attended as many Senior Citizens functions as possible in Manchester, Tullahoma, and Winchester and also enjoyed cooking for the homebound and chauffeuring people to their doctor’s appointments
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Crabtree was also preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, John Henry Crabtree; one brother, Charles Smartt; and two sisters, Jean Parker and Katherine Jackson.
She is survived by two daughters, Connie (Kenton) Smithson of Ooltewah, TN and Delores (Marcus) Kenyon of Soddy Daisy, TN; three brothers, Bill, C.L. and Doug Smartt; two sisters, JoAnn Hord and Pamela Masoud; three grandchildren, Katie (Jay) Wylie, Matthew (Jean Ko) Smithson, and Jonathan Grubb; two great grandchildren, William and Anna Wylie; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
