Five attorneys have applied to fill a vacancy created when a judge who heard cases in four Tennessee counties retired. The position opened with the retirement of Judge Robert Crigler, who leaves the bench May 31. The 17th Judicial District serves Bedford, Lincoln, Marshall and Moore counties.
Tennessee’s Judicial Nominating Commission will hold a public meeting at 9 a.m. Friday, March 8 at the Blue Ribbon Circle Club/Celebration Grounds to interview candidates.
