Little League Set To Begin

To all players that have signed up to play Little League baseball in Manchester try-outs for 8-12 year-olds will be Saturday 9am at the National League Field.
To all children 5-12 years old late signups will be taken all week at Hullett’s Service Center on the Woodbury Hwy and the Tack Shop on the Hillsboro Blvd. You can also signup Saturday at the press box beginning at 8am before tryouts begin.
Also a new 13 year-old Little League will begin play later in the year. Players will be allowed to play both Babe Ruth and this new league. The new 13 year-old league will only play on Wednesdays. This league will have a 50ft pitching rubber and base paths will be 70ft. The new league highly encourages 13 year-olds to play in both leagues.
