Mr. Carl B. Brown age 78 of Hillsboro, Tennessee passed away Sunday, February 17, 2013, at his daughter’s home with his family by his side.
He was a member of The Church of Christ in Pelham.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Violet King Brown, brothers; Hershel and Paul Brown, and was a son of the late Ulysses Grant Brown and Miriam Lautzenheiser Brown.
Survivors include his children Alan (Connie) Brown of Scottsboro, AL, and Joyce Brown of Sewanee, TN; grandchildren Denise (Danny) Foshee, Jody (Chandler) Green, and Greg (Misty) Dolberry; great-grandchildren Gauge, Blair, Blake, Brooke, and Dreke; brother Grant Brown of Pelham; sisters Flona Lee Burnett of Pelham, Faye Woodall of Winchester, and Lotus Douglas of Tullahoma; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 19, 2012 in the funeral home chapel with Charlie Brown officiating.
Burial will follow in Summerfield Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 5:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Cumberland Funeral Home Monteagle, Tennessee.
