Hillsboro firemen battle blaze on Saturday night… Photos by Barry West
Arson is suspected in a mobile home fire in Hillsboro according to one fire official. The alarm went out at 9:45pm Saturday night (Feb 16, 2013) for the Hillsboro Fire Department to respond to a structure fire on Highway 127 about a mile from the Fire Hall. Upon arrival fire was visible shooting form both ends of the roof. The structure suffered heavy smoke and water damage. The Coffee County Sheriff’s Department will be conducting an investigation to determine if indeed it was arson.
