Fire In Summitville

The Summitville Fire Department was paged out at about 7pm Thursday night to a structure fire at 64 Summitville Road. When firemen arrived they found a mobile home heavily involved with smoke and fire. The three adults and two children escaped without injury, but the family suffered a heavy personal property loss. The cause of the fire could be affiliated to a wood stove but has yet to be determined. The Coffee County Sheriff’s Department will do an investigation.
