Manchester Police surround car that drugs were found in
Manchester Police on Wednesday afternoon around 4:30PM spotted a car meeting the description of the vehicle belonging to John O’Keefe Varner… Varner is the man police are searching for that apparently was involved in shooting in Manchester on Saturday. 35-year-old Misty Dawn Kirk of Manchester, a girlfriend of Varner was driving the car on the Hillsboro Blvd when it was spotted.
After receiving consent to search the car police found approximately 7 grams of ICE (crystal methamphetamine) and $1,400 in cash. Mitchell West, Capt. Ronnie Gray, Dustin Foster, Landon Pence worked the search.
The vehicle was impounded and Kirk was booked into the Coffee County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
Manchester Police Chief Mark Yother told WMSR News that he is very proud of the work the officers are doing.
