Teens Charged With Theft Of Jewelry

An 18-year-old Warren County resident is charged with felony burglary in connection with a theft of more than $20,000 worth of jewelry.
According to the Southern Standard, Calie Lashae Smith was indicted on aggravated burglary charges, while charges are pending against her alleged partner, Heather Grissom.
Police said the incident occurred at a home on Stubblefield Lane.
Investigators said Smith confessed to driving Grissom to the home and watching Grissom break out a window.
Police said Smith climbed in through the window while wearing gloves, and once inside, she unlocked the front door to allow Grissom to enter.
Investigators said Smith watched Grissom carry out the jewelry in a black bag.
