Marie Bailey of Tullahoma, passed this life on Wednesday, February 13th, 2013 at Harton Regional Medical Center at the age of 89.
Mrs. Bailey was born in Franklin, North Carolina to the late George A. and Flora Jean Dills Cloer.
During her life she worked at Oak Ridge in the 1940s, and as a hairdresser when she and her family moved to Tullahoma. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Tullahoma and had been a Sunday School Teacher since she was 16 years old.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bailey is preceded in death by her husband Elwood Bailey; and nine brothers and sisters.
She is survived by one son, Jim Bailey and his wife Connie of Tullahoma; one daughter, Jan Bailey Crouch and her husband Dwight of Huntsville, AL; one sister, Eula Holbrook of Franklin, NC; three grandchildren, Michelle Crouch Cruise and her husband Jason of Franklin, TN, Brandon Bailey and his wife Annie of Manchester, TN and Jessica Bailey of Tullahoma; four great grandchildren, Cole and Tucker Cruise and Levi and Maggie Bailey; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mrs. Bailey will be held on Friday, February 15th, 2013 from 4:00-8:00pm at Kilgore Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 16th, 2013 at 11:00am in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Tim McGehee and Garry Irvin officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
