Motlow was led in scoring by four players with 8 points each; Calvesha Flowers, Lashundra Rice, Kaley Rogers and Lacy Gaines.
In front of an outstanding student body the Motlow Bucks jumped out quick on Southwest holding 56-32 lead at the half. The Bucks were out scored in the 2nd half but went onto defeat the Saluqis 94-75 to win the TCCAA regular season title. With the win Motlow clinches a trip to the national tournament in Kansas in March.
Motlow was led in scoring by Sean Gardner with 20 and Perrin Buford with 18.
Saturday both Motlow teams will take on Dyersburg St. starting at 2pm. Sophomore members of the Motlow College Bucks and Lady Bucks basketball teams will be recognized between the men’s and women’s games.
