Camper Destroyed At Lakewood Park

An emergency call came out at about 6:30pm Monday evening (February 11, 2013) to respond to a structure fire on Corinth Road in Lakewood Park. New Union Fire Department responded to the blaze, but when firemen arrived the camper that was burning was fully engulfed. The camper was unoccupied and was a total loss. The fire is being investigated by the Coffee County Sheriff’s Department.
