Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Aliene Randall, age 85, of Murfreesboro, TN, will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Brandon Stutts officiating.
Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Randall passed away Wednesday morning at Horizon Health and Rehab in Manchester.
Mrs. Randall was born in Sherwood, TN, the daughter of the late Frank Dyer and Julie Lee Farrell Tenpenny. In earlier years, she was a factory work at Perfect Equipment in Murfreesboro. She attended Westwood Baptist Church, loved doll collecting, cooking, collecting plates, and was an amateur photographer.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Randall was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 25 years, Lawrance Randall; five brothers, Woodrow, Charles L., George Franklin, Loyd Rayburn, and Glen Roston Tenpenny; two half-brothers, Howard and Elmer Ferrell; and three sisters, Goldie Hodge, Dot Crawford, and Christine Tenpenny, who died as an infant.
She is survived by three sons, Charles (Judy) Randall of Manchester, and Glenn and Ronnie Randall, both of Murfreesboro; one sister, Helen Vandergriff of Manchester; two grandchildren, Tammy (Greg) Adams and Chuck (Kelli) Randall, both of Manchester; four great grandchildren, BJ and Ryan Adams, Cameron and Brooklynn Randall; two great, great grandchildren, Sophia and Kloie Shay Adams; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would request donations to St. Judes Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
