Martha Ann Rutledge age 74, of Fayetteville, passed away Wednesday morning at her residence after a battle with cancer.
A native of Lincoln County she was a daughter of the late James Wiles and Mary Odell Groce. She was a cafeteria worker employed by the Moore County School System and was of the Baptist faith. Martha enjoyed fishing, spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her puppy dogs and spending time sitting on her front porch enjoying the sunshine.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Rutledge of Fayetteville, sons; James R. Rutledge and his wife Brenda of Statham, Ga. and Terry W. Rutledge and his wife Donna of Jefferson, Ga. Daughters; Donna R. Williams of Fayetteville, Tonna R. Eslick and her husband Clayton of Lynchburg and Patty Ann Richardson and her husband Michael of Fayetteville. Sister, Sandra F. Young of Savannah, Ga. 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way due February 24 and several nieces and nephews and camping friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister Peggy Jo Sasser.
The family will receive friends on Thursday February 7, 2013 beginning at 12:30 in the afternoon with funeral services beginning at 2PM at the Lynchburg Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tony Billions officiating.
Burial will follow in the Booneville Cemetery.
