On Saturday the Lady Bucks played very well but came up short during their homecoming match-up with Cleveland St, 60-56.
Freshman Chelsey Wiseman had a big day for Motlow scoring 21 points. Erica Ervin had 11 and Presley Owen chipped in with 10. The Lady Bucks had their trouble at the free-line going only 13-22.
In men’s play the Bucks and Cougars were tied at 40 at halftime but Motlow got it rolling in the 2nd half. The Bucks’ D.J. Jones exploded for 22 of his career high 26 in the 2nd half as Motlow picked up a 91-79 victory. Chris Hawkins added 12 for the Bucks.
The Motlow men are now 16-3 overall and 11-1 in TCCAA play. Next up road trips to Walters St on Friday and Roane St on Saturday.
