Funeral services for Mr. Raymond Kendall Shelton, age 87 of Manchester will be conducted at 2:30pm, Monday, February 4 at the Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charles Williams officiating.
Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
Visitation with the Shelton family will be from 4pm until 9pm, Sunday, February 3 at Manchester Funeral Home.
Mr. Shelton passed away Saturday morning at the Manchester Healthcare Center surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Shelton was born in Coffee County, Tennessee the son of the late Waistel Watson And Annie Dera Orren Shelton.
He was a carpenter and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mr. Shelton attended the Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by 7 brothers and sisters, Tommy Hall Shelton, Paul Shelton, Wayne Shelton, Katie Pearl Welch, Lucille Novello, Rena Shores and Maggie Ruth Shelton.
His survivors are: His loving wife, Mrs. Willie Carr Shelton of Manchester Step son- Jerry Shores and his wife Melinda of Manchester 2 brothers- Billy Shelton of Illinois James Shelton of Manchester 2 grandchildren, Christopher Shores and his wife Jerrica and Matthew Shores
