Joann Elliott, of Manchester, passed this life on Friday, February 1st, 2013 at Manchester Health Care Center at the age of 71.
Mrs. Elliott was born in Lincoln County, TN to the late Pless and Wanda Lee Daniel Griffin.
During her life, she worked as a Ball Sewer for Lannom’s and was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Elliott is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Taylor Elliott; three sons, Jerry Dodson, Leanne Elliott and William Elliott; two brothers, Robert Griffin and Don Thomas Griffin; and one sister, Carolyn Mute.
She is survived by five daughters, Vicki Rhoton and her husband Frank of Manchester, Bonnie Anthony and her husband Ernest of Tullahoma, Glenda Johnson and her husband Kevin of Manchester, Debbie Caldwell and her husband Terry of Decherd and Patty Lynn Dodson of Winchester; two sons, Mike Elliott and his wife Linda of Manchester and Timothy Wayne Dodson of Georgia; six sisters, Hazel Parker, Linda Martin, Mary Ann Sons, Cathy Anthony, Paulette James and Wanda Faye Honea; one brother, Kenneth Gene Griffin; grandchildren, Misty, Shannon, Ginny, Chris, Jonathon Adam, Jonathan, Wallace, Kelly, Sarah Lynn, Lyndsey Dianne and Tara; and 15 great grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Elliott will be held on Saturday, February 2nd, 2013 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00pm.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, February 3rd, 2013 at 2:00pm in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Bros. Rick Everhart and Bill Rhoton officiating.
Burial will follow at Blanton Chapel Cemetery
Kilgore Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
