Margie Helen Fanning Burton, age 83 of Lynchburg, passed away January 30, 2013 at Harton Regional Medical in Tullahoma.
She is survived by her husband Clifford “Tip” Burton of 65 years. Son, Melvin Burton and his wife Joyce, daughter; Kaye Eslick and her husband Jerry, grandchildren, Jeremy and Holly Burton and Great-Grandson Avery all of Moore County.
She is also survived by brothers; Willbern and Clyde Fanning; sisters, Clara V Russell and Opal Cassey all of Moore County and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chaney and Della Fanning. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lynchburg Church of Christ.
The family will receive friends on Thursday January 31, 2013 from 4-8 P.M. at Lynchburg Funeral Home.
Services will be held on Friday February 1, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Lynchburg Funeral Home Chapel with Richard Logan officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lynchburg Cemetery .
