Troy Wayne Boyd, of Tullahoma, passed this life on Tuesday, January 29th, 2013 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville at the age of 59.
Mr. Boyd was born in Christiansburg, VA to Billy Ray and Louise Boyd who now reside in Smyrna, TN.
During his life, Mr. Boyd worked as a Quality Engineer for S.M.W. of Shelbyville and was a member of Christian Lighthouse Full Gospel Church in Tullahoma. He was a dedicated worker, great family leader and in his free time enjoyed playing golf, as well as preaching and teaching.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Tishia Boyd of Tullahoma; two sons, William Troy Boyd and his partner Shawn Woody of Oregon, and Cody Allen Taylor of Tullahoma; one daughter, Shaunee Louise Boyd of Tullahoma; two brothers, John Mark Boyd and his wife Janna of Spencer, TN, and James Boyd of Symrna; one sister, Charlene Wilson and her husband David also of Symrna; and five grandchildren, Jayden Neveah Keith, Cayden Taylor, Valin White, Cole Morris, and Matthew Morris; his in-laws and best friends, Gary and Annie Mae Keller of Tullahoma; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mr. Boyd will be held on Friday, February 1st, 2013 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Kilgore Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Saturday, February 2nd, 2013 at 2:00pm in the Kilgore Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Watkins officiating.
Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
