Weatherization Assistance Program Sign-Up Date Is Feb. 8

Applications for the Weatherization Assistance Program are now being accepted at the South Central Human Resources offices in Coffee County. The offices are located at the county justice building on the Hillsboro Hwy. in as well as 414 Wilson Ave., Tullahoma on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Deadline to apply is Feb. 8. The Weatherization Assistance Program is designed to assist low-income households in reducing their fuel costs and to contribute to national energy conservation through increased energy efficiency and consumer education. The program is administered by the South Central Human Resource Agency through a contract with the Tennessee Housing Development Agency.
