After delaying a vote by ten days the Franklin County Commission Friday night voted 14 to 0 (2 were absent) to approve the funding of SROs for the seven elementary schools and one for the middle schools. The commissioners met in a work session last Wednesday night to discuss the proposal and at that time decided to vote for the plan when they met in regular session Friday night.
