Funeral services for Mrs. Eveline Josiane Brigand Bell, age 75, of Manchester, will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Kidder officiating.
Burial will follow in Hurricane Cemetery in Moore County, TN.
Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bell passed away at her home on Sunday afternoon.
Mrs. Bell was born in Issoudun, France, the daughter of the late Vincent Andre and Helene Madeleine Brigand. Eveline moved to the Manchester, TN area in 1974, where she remained until she passed away. Frenchie, as she was called by her co-workers, worked for Sun Drop Bottling for 18 years.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bell was also preceded in death by her husband of nearly 50 years, James Franklin Bell; one son, Jeffery Lynn Bell; and a grandson, Jay Chris Bell.
Her survivors include four sons, James (Sherri) Bell and John Bell, both of Manchester, Jerry (Ginny) Bell of Summitville, and Joel (Jessica) Bell of Hillsboro; two daughters, Helene (Michael) Finchum, of Morrison, and Marline (Mike) Griffin, of Manchester; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Hart of Manchester and Wanda Mitchell of Tampa, FL; one brother-in-law, Roger (Juanita) Bell of Manchester; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as a number of special friends, including Tony Akers, Tom Baker, Helen Avans Van Sande, Dean Anderson, and Belinda Dill.
