Mr. Howard Wayne Andrews, age 75, of Tullahoma, passed away Wednesday at Harton Regional Medical Center in Tullahoma, TN.
A native of Lincoln County, TN, he is the son of the late Grady L. Andrews and Lela Mae Howard Andrews.
Mr. Andrews was a graduate of Fordson High School in Dearborn, MI., and was employed by Fisher Body GM Plant in Livonia, MI. as a supervisor for several years. He was an Air Force Veteran, having served in the Korean Conflict as 1 st Lt. in SAC , a member of the First United Methodist Church in Tullahoma, a Kiwanis Past President and Kiwanis of the Year, a 32 nd Degree Mason, and a member of the OES. Mr. Andrews was a coin collector and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by one nephew Joseph Andrews and uncles O.H. Howard, Jr., and Walter Howard.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elsa Loiuse Andrews of Tullahoma, sons Gregory (Dolly) Andrews of Lascassas, TN. and David Lee Andrews of Johnson City, TN., one brother Harold (Sherry) Andrews of St. Helen, MI., grandchildren Nathan Lee Andrews, Stephanie (Brandon) Hall, Jennifer (Dwajuan) Howse, great-grandchildren Ciana Atkins, Kayla Alcorn, Ethan and Drew Hall, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation with the family will Sunday evening from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at Tullahoma Funeral Home.
Services will be conducted Monday at11:00 AM in the Tullahoma Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Mark Ashley officiating.
Burial, with military honors, will follow in Lincoln Cemetery in Fayetteville, TN.
