1/27/13 —- Dayton Clark Douglas

Mr. Dayton Clark Douglas, age 83, of Tullahoma, passed away Tuesday at his residence.

He is a native of Little Falls, NY and the son of the late Burton and Dorothy Douglas.

He was a sawyer at Clemons Lumber Co., was a manager at J & R Lumber Company and Moore’s Lumber Company. Mr. Douglas was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, was a member of the Mason’s, St. Johnsville #611 F. & A.M.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Douglas, a daughter, Debbie Steele, sisters, Marion Fuller, Erma Eberline and Loraine Novak and a brother, Walter Douglas.

He is survived by his brothers, Gordon Douglas of Little Falls, NY, Robert Douglas of St. Johnsville, NY, daughters, Chris (Ricky) Floyd of Tullahoma, Patricia (Victor) Stewart of Tullahoma, son in law, Larry Steele of Clermont, FL, grandchildren, Lisa Sonnenberg, Larry (Alma) Steele, Sarah (Rhi) Jones, Harlow (Brandi) Chatterton, David (Amy) Snell, Heather (Jon) Ferrera, Chad Shaut and twelve great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 27, 2013 at 5:00PM at the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.

The family request in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church or a charity of your choice in his name.
