Memorial services for Mrs. Doris Jean Jeter, age 61, of Nashville, formerly from New Orleans, LA, will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Manchester Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday from 4:00 PM until time of services at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jeter passed away on Saturday at Baptist Hospital in Nashville.
Mrs. Jeter was born in New Orleans, LA, the daughter of the late Joseph Fred Smith and Eugenia Gaspard Smith, who survives. She was of the Nazarene faith and loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Jeter is also survived by three children, Kathy Stretton of New Orleans, Eddie (Tracy) Jeter of Manchester, and Charles Jeter of Nashville; two brothers, Marius Smith of Pineville, LA, Joe (Doris) Smith of Luling, LA, and Debbie Smith of Nashville.
