A 20-year-old Winchester woman died Saturday evening when the 4-wheeler she was riding left the roadway and crashed. According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Emily VanGorder Franklin was operating the 4wheeler that went out of control and crashed into a rock wall on Iron Gap Road on Keith Springs Mountain. A passenger on Franklin’s four wheeler was able to jump free of the vehicle before the crash.
Troopers Sgt. Larry Fraley and Duane Stevens investigated the accident.
