Mr. Larry Lewis Haynes age 66 of Pelham, Tennessee passed away at his home Friday morning, Jan. 18, 2013, with his family by his bedside.
Larry worked in road construction most of his adult life, he was a farmer, had worked as a policeman for the Town of Monteagle, had served as a constable, and was a volunteer fireman in Pelham. Larry was of the Methodist faith, loved spending time with his family and friends, hunting and fishing.
Larry was born in Pelham on September 25, 1946, a son of the late George Holbert Haynes and Mary M. Kennedy Haynes and he was preceded in death by his brothers, Prentice, George, Charles and John Haynes; father-in-law, Paul Haynes.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Martha Haynes; daughters, Stephanie and her husband, Jimmy Weddington of Lynchburg, Joyce Parks, Doris and her husband, Randy Miller; son Gerrial and his wife, Danielle Parks of Pelham; brother, Jim and his wife, Juanita Haynes of Winchester; sister, Francis and her husband, Buford Woosley of Tullahoma; mother-in-law, Ophelia Haynes of Tracy City; grandchildren, Nathan Haynes and Zach Weddington of Lynchburg, Dawn and Josh Dishroon, Josh and Jonathan Miller, Emily, Gerrial, Jr., Julie and Heavenee Parks all of Pelham; great-granddaughter, Kailee Rayne Dishroon of Pelham; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Johnny Gipson and Reverend Danny Gipson officiating.
Burial will be in the Church of Christ Cemetery in Pelham.
The family will receive friends Saturday 2-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
