Moe passed away on Thursday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family and friends, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Moe was born in Fayetteville, TN. She was a graduate of Fayetteville Central High School, Motlow State Community College and received her Bachelor of Science degree from MTSU. She was employed as a Database Administrator for ATA at Arnold Air Force Base for over 25 years. She attended Bell Springs United Methodist Church in the Noah Community. Moe loved all animals, especially her dogs and cat. She loved all sports, especially women’s sports, including softball and basketball. She loved traveling with her husband in sports at Coffee County, Riverdale, and MTSU, where he coached football and softball, and where so many of her cherished friendships began. She was definitely his number ONE fan and supporter. She also loved the Peanuts cartoon characters, lighthouses, and beach trips with her girlfriends.
Moe is survived by her loving husband, Jeff Breeden, of Manchester; her two dogs, Chance and Jake and cat, Forrest; her parents, Bradley and Madge Brake of Manchester; sister, Carol (Charlie) Cox of Manchester; three nieces, Liz (Tony) Lockhart of Cane Ridge, TN, Stephanie Hudgens and Shaina Cox, both of Manchester, and a host of special friends throughout middle Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the newly formed Debbie “Moe” Breeden Memorial Scholarship, MTSU Box 576, Murfreesboro, TN 37132.
