The Polly Crockett Festival will take place on September of 2012 in Cowan, Tennessee

The Polly Crockett Festival will take place on September of 2012 in Cowan, Tennessee along Tennessee Ave.

This year the festival is bigger and better than previous years.   Special attractions and events include: Live Entertainment on 2 Stages, Friday Night Movie in The Park “Davy Crockett King of the Wild Frontier”, Leonard Brown’s Antique Car Show,  Kids Area includes: Davy’s Create & Take, Davy’s Adventure Zone, Polly’s Play Park, Petting Zoo & Climbing Wall, Story Telling. A Living History of Tennessee has representation from the Daughters of the American Revolution, Civil War Cannoneers, storytelling, uniform exhibit  and Skillet Toss Competition. Cowan Elementary students will be dressed in period costumes in the Cowan Railroad Park with their teacher Emily Ezell who will be churning butter and showcasing the Pioneer way of life.

 

Everyone is welcome to attend the Polly Crockett Festival.  The Festival is open September 21st through 23rd.  Friday’s hours are 1:00PM until 6:00PM & Movie in the Park “Davy Crockett King of the Wild Frontier” beginning at 7:00 PM. Saturday’s hours are 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM and Sunday’s hours are 11:00AM until 4:00PM.
