Bring your curiosity on this easy “off road” trek to search for interesting plants and animals. Once we all find odd or interesting things we will bring them back to the parking area to find out what they are! Meet Park at the Grundy Forest Pavilion.
Big Creek Gulf Hike
Join Ranger Katie as we descend down the Stone Door to hike 7 miles along the Big Creek Gulf Hike and back along the Laurel Trail. This will be an intermediate hike that may take several hours. Wear sturdy shoes and bring water. Meet at the Stone Door Ranger Station.
Grundy Lakes Canoe Float
Come on out to learn the ropes about paddling a canoe and participate in a lake critter hunt! Meet at the Grundy Lakes parking area and wear clothes you don’t mind getting wet. Weather permitting. Call ahead to reserve a spot: 931-924-2956.
