Old Stone Fort State Archaeological Park in Manchester will host a First Hike at 10 am on January 1st.

To ring in the New Year and continue the celebration of Tennessee State Parks 75th anniversary, Old Stone Fort State Archaeological Park in Manchester will host a First Hike at 10 am on January 1st.

Starting from the museum, a park ranger will lead the 1 ¼ mile hike around what is called the Old Stone Fort telling you about the site built  by Native Americans 2000 years ago.

Wear hiking shoes, bring some water, and enjoy some coffee and hot chocolate in the museum afterward.
