Old Stone Fort State Archaeological Park

10:30 a.m.- Ancient Ceremonial Site Tour= Meet at the front desk of the museum to set off on a walk around this 2000 year old Woodland Indian ceremonial enclosure known as the Old Stone Fort.
11:30 a.m.- Old Stone Fort’s Movie Hour= Join us at the park museum theater to view the film Ancient America: Eastern Woodlands. While watching the film, discover the rituals, secrets, and wonders of the world of the Eastern Woodland Indians.
2:00 p.m.- Rock Art Program= Petroglyphs are some of the earliest artistic creations Native Americans left behind as evidence of their lives and what beliefs they held. Join us at the park museum where we will create our own rock art!
3:30 p.m.- Atlatl Demonstration= Meet at the museum lawn to try your hand at this preferred method of hunting large game 10,000 years ago.
