In the front yard of the museum at 10:00 a.m. come visit to listen to Native American myths, legends, and origin stories passed down through oral traditions of many generations.
12:00 p.m. we will be conducting some amount of trail maintenance. This is open to all and volunteers are very much appreciated. Come help us preserve this historic site by taking pride in taking care of the mounds.
After the trail maintenance, at 2:30 p.m. participants and other park guests will have a chance to cool off with a stream stroll. We will walk down to the water and look for critters while talking about the water ecosystem and what we can do to take care of it.
At the end of the day at 4:00 p.m. there will be a short stickball demonstration. Visitors can come learn about this tribal game and have a chance to use authentic sticks and ball.
